as i got it last year

and after
had the bike since april have done loads of work to it
removed all the bits that restrict these bikes
fitted zzr1100 cams
fitted zxr wheels lighter and wider new bearings fitted at the same time
wavey discs
4 deg advancer
full s/s remus exhaust system
dynojet stage 3
k&n pods
short brake and clutch leavers
swing arm done black with new bearings
headstock bearings
new chain and sprockets
denso plugs
55/100 headlight
s/s crank case breather
clocks light up green
shocks have been sent away had new seals oil and re gassed
fitted rack and topbox but still have grab handles if you want to remove it
its a great bike i am in no hurry to sell it
have most bits to return to standard
its lighter than standard and a lot better

standard these are around 96 bhp
now 141.35 at the wheel

This is my P4 99 ZX-7R.
I have spent the last year getting her to this point.
Been over the bike with lots of new parts but the big mods are custom built Ohlins remote rear shock and full Hindle system.
Love the 90's bikes !
Regards
Lee

my zephyr at last finished! there are pics from last year here. there's a tarozzi fork brace to go on and chrome rad guard and mybe its done! I got it up and running last year but since stripped the engine down and replaced the rattley primary chain and primary chain bearings and crank seals, runs as good as new now. might sell it if the offers right, not going on ebay tho. people want something for nothing there! will post new pic in the next few days. My New Versys

I dropped off the ER6 at J&S in Birmingham for it's 15000 mile service Sunday and there it was, a black brand new (2011) Versys for sale at £5299.
J&S offered me a good deal for the ER6 and the rest is history.
I picked it up yesterday and i have clocked 130 miles, can't believe how much hard work the ER6 was, compared to the Versys. I don't have to stretch out to the handlebars because they are right there under my hands, the seat is much more comfortable, better handling as i don't have to counter stear it as much, bigger fuel tank and i get a great view from up there
Here's a couple of pics i took of it on my mobile phone today.

some of the bikes's have owned. still have the 2008 zzr1400 which was bought new, and the 2010 gtr1400 which was also bought new. the other bikes have sold over the last 3 years due to wanting the zzr1400. and recently the gtr1400 which I bought to do some major touring on. if I had the room, would have kept them all.

Here's my baby
. ZX9RC2 Ninja (1999)
Spent lots of money, time, blood, sweat and tears on this. all worth it. Even though it's not done yet...
not even sure I can remember everything...
i went ProBolt light weight bolts and jazz, all the way. (everything from bolts to gear shifter to reservoir caps to bar ends to bleed nipples and the rest.)
Yoshi RS-3, K&N, Muzzy adjustable ignition advancer (+2.5degrees at the moment), Barnett Carbon fibre clutch and HEL red braided break lines.
Rear hugger, Undertail, Iridium Red Double bubble screen, Saturn LED indicators by Oxford.
Will soon be getting adjustable cam sprockets and valve seats done, stage 3 Jet kit, Dyno tuned, Harris steering damper, WP rear shock and WP or Ohlins inverted front forks.
...um... Metzler M5's 120/55/17 on the front. 190/50/17 on the rear... soft's
35,000K's on the clock
It's aggressive and can easily keep up with modern bikes.
That's all I can remember for now...
I ride it hard (otherwise what's the point?). I'm Into road racing and riding interstate in record times.
Reasintly I've decided to take this bike off the road for track use. So will get race fairings and remove headlight, indicators, mirrors etc.

So yeah. It's an animal. And I love it.

I got my hands on this beautiful old bird yesterday and streched her legs a bit today. 180km per hour at 9000 rpm, clocked her and she did not even redline. Kawasaki out did them selves with these old beautys.

G'day all,
My name is Dave, from Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Just got my first Kawasaki, a 1983 GT750 shaft drive. Needs a tidy up (paint job) and a battery but the motor is great and it should clean up nicely.
Cheers,
Hubie.

well at long last i now have my gpz just about over the line and a bit more up to date, first thing to go was the poultry 750 motor, popped in the 900r,what a difference. next was a zzr1100 c2 swing arm, modified and bushed, fitted, along with wheel and caliper. last on the hit list zzr1100 c2 front end, complete, after much searching eventually found suitable head bearings to suit differrent stem diameters.trimmed the sides of the front mdguard. result,up to date tyre sizes, far better stopping and handling, and suspension on the front that actually works properly, well worth the work.
