Z250 (A1); Desperate for parts

Hi, I have a 1979 Z250 Kork Ballington replica which is currently at a mates garage in bits. I need new pistons and rings. Pistons I can source from Corby or Cradley but no one has piston rings. I have spoken to Z Power and a company called IMD Pistons and neither can help although IMD may manufacture kits next year as they have started getting a lot of enquiries.

Does anyone have any piston rings they would sell to me or does anyone know of any cheats or other bikes that I could nick the rings from. The whole project is resting on piston rings which is frustrating.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated. I'm in Chichester.

Cheers

Have a look at this site https://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-er250a1-z250t-1983-canada_model12219/partslist/1E.html#results They are very good. I'm not sure on this model its a Canadian model and a bit later but try cross referencing the part number and you may be in luck.

A mate of mine with one of these, has a GPz 305 top end waiting to go on. He states his research found it will bolt straight on.
Whilst not keeping strictly original, its another possibility to consider.
I can't say 100% what the conversion is like, as its still waiting to be done.
