Had a go on one of these last week. In ECO mode it was pretty brisk. In SPORT mode OMG! It's rated at 52 KW, but the figure that really matters is the torque: 107.7 ft lbs. It's reputed to out accelerate a Porsche 911 and I can believe it. What a hoot. I'd have one tomorrow for hooning about on if I could afford the price. Not having gears to constantly change was a revelation. It leaves you time to enjoy the pure riding having instant power on tap. Yes I know there are range and charge time issues, but that isn't stopping two blokes who are riding from Lands End to Skaw on the island of Unst, Shetland, on the 18th of this month. They are raising money for Warwickshire and Solihull blood Bikes and Tommy's who deal with miscarriage issues.ERRATUM: John Chivers was the biker who actually did the riding. He had support in taking the bike to its starting point and picking up after the trip from Forfar by James and Kate Coats. Apologies.
