Hi have a problem have snapped 2 rear disc bolts . Had wheels powder coated think they must have put bolts in as blanks but wrong thread. so when I tried to put the original bolts back In very tight and would not tighten right down so when tried to remove them 2 snapped of . Will I be able to get these removed and re tapped .Thank you

That is a real pain in the neck, if the bolts stand proud you could try welding a bolt on top. If they are flush and you can centre punch the bolt then drill them out to just under thread size, use cobalt drill bits and go slow with cutting compound Then pick the remains out.Do Not use cheap easy out stud extractors as if they break that's a whole lot of grief. If you can warm the area to make it expand this will help. It may pay to find an engineering company in your area with spark erosion gear as this may be your only option.
I know its a bit late and probably telling you how to suck eggs but it pays to run a tap down threads after powder coating.
Good luck hope it goes well.

Thanks for that , yes I should have done tap . But they said they would put there bolts in to protect the thread if they have think it's been the wrong thread .have booked it in to a workshop in the morning ,hopefully they will sort it out. Will let you know how I get on .
