Mine dose it too when it's cold. Not so much when it warms up. I started using a 50/50 mixture of oil and synthetic and it seamed to help quite it down. |

I have a Vulcan 2,ooo Limited ('06 model), and I have it so loud that it drowns the sound of the stock exhaust!!! It is quite annoying. It sounds like piston slap, and is very noticable on a very modest accelleration. I also detect valve train noise. The dealer says it's normal(?????). I am very ashamed of Kawasaki for marketing such poor performance. I tried adding 105 octane and even 110 octane gas. Its helped, but didn't eliminate the noise much. Any ideas on this one? |
