As some may have seen in my intro post I have a 83 Z550 in need of some tlc. my intentions in the long run are to customise it but in the mean time my aim is to get it up and running. A big part of the tlc is the engine. When I picked the bike up it was in a right state. most of the motors intternals are in a box and the main body is in pieces. At the moment I am off work with a relativley serious complaint and will be for the next month or two, plenty of time. as I have absolutley no experience with motors, advice will be needed. Also, I don't suppose anyone knows where I could lay my hands on a factory manual for a 550 motor. I have the Haynes book of pants but the factory books are much clearer. Cheers guys an galls Skoosh |
