hi, does anyone else own a 1984 GPZ600R i've been led to beleive they are almost rare, as most seem to wrap them round tree's!!!! i happened on one that had been sitting in a shed for 5 years!!! a bit of this and that and it now sounds sweet as a nut!!!!

Yeah the 600 ninja is rare ......back in the day every squid owned one and learned what not to do on a bike ......thereby killing nearly all examples in existence........if you find a 600 in one peice it would make for a sweet ride .......I used to work at a kawasaki dealer in L.A. during the mid 80"s and almost every 600 we sold was back in the shop being rebuild within 2 weeks.......

Yep, that model is rare, I own a 86 GPZ 600R The other day when I went to bike hospital to look for some spares (which I could not get from the Kawa dealers) :256 I saw quite a few of the 85 models standing on the floor. All messed up off course. :599
It seems to me that it is quite a problem (In South Africa) getting spares etc for the old model bikes. I usually tend to go to bike hospital (old old bike graveyard) for any spares or accessories.

The early ones do turn up occasionaly, I have an 85' Gpz600r. I bought it a few months ago and since then I have seen 5 or 6 good examples on Ebay for not much money, and a few of those have been here in the south west of England .
Ridden well they can still surprise quite a few modern machines. :kawa
