I'm new to the winterizing of my Vulcan 500, I need suggestions on how to drain the carbs. Do I hook up a hose to the drain and drain it? I can't see any other way, Help please! |

You can drain the carbs by using a small piece of rubber hose (like a vaccum hose) it attaches to the drain nipples on the bottom of the carb float bowls. There should be a screw surrounded by a nylon ring near the float bowls of each carb, those are the drain screws for the carb float bowls. Open these screws and let the fuel drain out. Hope this helps. Rocket
