Hi there I just started fixing up my 86 ninja 600 with a vance and hines exhaust and a Dyno jet kit stage 1. I was wondering if anyone has a good tech for checking for exhaust leaks? I am glad there is a form for Kawasaki riders

I usualy wet my fingers and runs then about 1" (2.4cm) from the connections on the pipes when the engine is running, best done when the engine is cold, (try not to get burned), it you feel the air pressure coming from the holes/leaks if there any).smear a bit of washing liquid (or spit will do) over and areas might be suspect to make sure. Hope that helps. Si |
