Hi, This is more of a problem in cold weather. If I try to start with choke I get a clunking sound from the engine and the engine does not start. If I try to start without choke the engine eventually starts after numerous attempts and is ok when up to temperature. If I then slide the choke open I get the same clunking noise and the engine stops. Has any one any idea why the choke has this sort of effect? Steve |

The choke works as a butterfly switch which fits into the carb mouth between the airbox and the sliders, it shouldn't be able to make any clicks when the engine is running. I'd check the carb anyway. check http://www.dogdragons.com/dogdragons/maint...intainance.html If you need more help, just ask Si |
