I've been thinking about your prob far a little while now, and I'm still unsure what you mean. I know my RX1000 (ZX10a) exclerates up so 7000rpm before the cam realy hits kicks in, so seems to excelerates better between 7,000 to 11000 rpm.
I love sitting next to cage drivers in 2nd gear doing about 60mph at 7000rpm and then just open the throttle. Thats what I call fun

well basicly when i say its lumpy its slow (very to pick up almost as if there is no power or its flooding also sound as if its running on 3 instead of 4 i am no mechanic by any means so its hard to give an acurate description sorry  when i roll off the power i get popping and a flame that would put the devil to shame (fun but not if the local plod sees me )
