My GPX750 revs at 4000rpm @ 100kph (60mph). Gearing as bought is 16/78 is this standard. Whilst not owning a bike for seldecades I feel this is not correct. Cheers, Phil

Hi, that works out to about 15mph per 1000rpm, seems reasonable as my ZX6R is around that mark.

My GPZ RX1000 revs at 11,000 (about 55mph) then I try using 2nd gear.
