I've ridden a lot of dirt bikes and am thinking about a cruiser. I am a six foot 190 pound male. The Vulcan 1500 is high on my list of choices. Are there any years I should stay away from? Are there any "must have" features that I should consider in the later model years? Is this the right size bike for me? I plan on doing a lot of three hour round trip rides and possibly longer tours. I live in Michigan and we have great country roads as well as hellish freeways. Looking forward to your help. Moe |

Greetings. I love my 1600 Classic Vulcan. If you are planning on taking long distances trips, believe you should not have any problems with any year as long it the that first year model. But seek a motorcycle that feel comfortable to you. Kick it ride... Be safe. Brownrider |
