Hello all, At the moment i ride a 954 fireblade but the time has come to get rid of that and i quite fancy a 2006 zx10r. Can you give me some advice on the bike all good points and bad points would be great. I'm going to Midland superbike centre tomorrow to test ride one so any advice on what to look for would be great Thanks Mark |

I had a 954 blade and went to a 636 - just as much fun and not that much slower. The 06 10 is supposed to be more civilised than the 04/05 model, which will take a bit of getting used to. The blade's power is quite linear, whereas the 10 has a brilliant power band! In my view all 10's are cracking bikes and will give you loads more fun than the blade. |

from reading mags like fast bikes and the likes, in my opinion it depends on what ur looking for in a bike. the '04-'05 models were the nuts out comeback kings and were a tad mental, very exciting and inherantly unstable. in the later models thay became much softer and somhow lost loads of their ground clearance. if u want a balls out maniac then ur definately better off going for a '04-'05 model and to be honest with u, i think thats how a 1000cc sports bike should be. i know u'll enjoy whichever one u choose because at the end of the day they are all lovely bikes. good luck.
