Hey i'm martyn, i'm 19 and from the salisbury area, I'm picking my new bike up tomoro. A zx6r g2 model, its a bit lush and i'll hopefully have some pics of her up tomoro or on saturday. Gotta get it safely from bristol first. This is my third bike, my first being a 50cc rieju RR50 (scrambler thing if you can call it a bike). My second was a FZR400, which was nice to ride for short stretches but man did it make my back ache after about 2-3 hours. I haven't riden in about a year, didn't have the money to keep the bike and car going together, so now i'm doing the opposite and getting rid of my car and getting a bike. woot!

Hey sorry no pics yet, kinda not had the time, just waiting at the moment to get two new tyres since the rear is now on limits putting some BT021's on since i'm going to be doing alot of miles... Had some kafuffle with finding the correct sizes (lucky i had the owners manual). The previous owner had put tyres which were wider than normal to increase stability narrowed the front slightly. I found it very heavy turning at slow speed due to the wider rear tyre, so hopefully now she should be town-able. She's also a bit un-ridden if you get what i mean, she's done 380 miles since may last rear with me doing half of them so she needs a good lot of riding

Put the standard size tyres on her last night, and i'm no longer scared to lean the bike now without it feeling stupidly heavy on corners, and its now easier at slower speeds yay! |
