Hello all, just joined the world of Kawasaki Owners. Have had a Yamaha Fazer Fz6 for 3 years and have to say have thoroughly enjoyed it. Now waiting for my new ZZr 1400 in March. Never owned owned a Kwak before but I am sure I going to enjoy it.The ZZR caught my eye not only for its sheer performance and good feed back that it has received, but how beautiful the bike looks. For me this bike has to be the best looking bike in its class! I am sure I am going to have a long lasting relationship with this bike Anybody else out there who owns this awesome machine who I can share experiences with?

Hi All, just posing this reply e-mail to Steve ZZR, incase anyone else wishes to discuss any matters risen.... Hi Steve, thanks for your e-mail appreciate it. I know what you mean about the weather as I too have been restricted. Done just over 200 miles on mine, but I do go to work on it too. I too have a scotoiler fitted when purchased and I have GIVI panniers fitted too. Don't put them on when going to work as I can't fit between traffic as well! I purchased an ABBA Stand for mine as they come highly recommended, bit fiddly at first and wouldn't recommend one to the fain hearted as they can seem a little tricky at first. The good thing about the stand is I can use it on my partners bike also, although you do need an adapter for each bike, still only £15. Just washed my bike today, managed to get an hour this morning just bobbing about not going too far as the weather did hail then rain for a short while. I was worried about getting the ZZR I have to say, very apprehensive at the time of posting my article on the Kwak owners club site because I haven't ridden many other types of bike and I knew this would be a three year decision I made. I Have to say though, I am thoroughly enjoying it!! - just rode off from the dealers as if I had ridden it for ages. I do need a tank protector and thought about purchasing the actual Kawasaki one, but a bit expensive at £29, but it does keep in with the bike, then I thought it’s a bit boring....would welcome your opinion on that.. :-) Did you but the midnight Saphire blue, or the silver one? Hope to hear from you again Richard |
