I'm totally new to bikes I picked up this ZL600 last week. It runs pretty good it has a little over 6,500 miles. I have a float issue on carb one I think and I did try cleaning it out yesterday. I cleaned all four float boxes actually all are ok except for #1, still flooding. I'm going to try again today. Boy ,taking out the surge box was fun. I had another question there are four tubes coming out of carberator's #1 carberator hose goes to gas tank #2 carberator joins with #4 T-joiner and vent carbs #3 is capped off I looked for diagrams can;t figure where it should run to. Great site proud to join hopefully someday I will be able to help out as I accumulate knowledge or in some form or another. The bike is nice cosmetically and besides for this float issue runs well. I paid 1200.00 dollars is that good, bad or in the middle? |
