Kawasaki Alarms; Any good?

Hi, has anyone got an official Kawasaki Alarm? - The one they sell as an official accessory?

I have a 05 ZX636, have it chained, anchored, and disc locked in the garage but just wondered whether the 'plug and play' alarm they do is any good for the £100 price tag - not much in terms of alarms I know, but just for the aded bit of security?

I was thinking more for when I'm out and about if you know what I mean.

Thanks

Just bought a new zx6r, and was told that I needed a thatcham 1 upgrade to the existing KISS immobiliser system. This seems OK and no problems at all with it yet, but it was £275.00

Not sure about the alarm givin peace of mind, how many house and car alarms do you ignore when you hear them goin off? I ignore them all and think that they are just annoyin pains in the bum hole.

My advice would be save your money, but then again that is what makes us all individual :fdq
