My list would have to include any 2stroke Trip, 73 Z-1, Z-1RTC, and ELR And maybe 91 ZR750 C1 when it is finished :D

I like the Z1R, KZ1300 (got to ride one of those when it first came out) and I may be a little biased on this last one but the 750 Turbo is my all time favorite.

I had a 78 KZ1000. that bike was really hot when I got it in 1985. I, too, was bikeless for years because of family priorities, now I have a 2008 Vulcan 2000vn,,,, WOW, what a bike! Low and comfortable, plenty of power and a really great look. for me, a cruiser is the way to go. I rased dirt and open desert when I was young and can appreciate speed and agility, but the low, and high end power of the 2000cc is very reassuring.

My current ZX9 C2 is going to be a keeper, love it, should never ever have sold my '83 1100 A3 or my '89 red & white ZX10. They all handled really well in their day, my ZX9 still does in my book. :441

for me the zx9r was a superb practical bike that handled well on our less than smooth roads.
However since buying its big brother the zx12r i haven't stopped smiling, so its a toss up between the two

Liked a lot of the triples when I was young...terrible handling, heart in your mouth on every corner on the H1, insane noise from them all!!
getting to work was always a joy on my z650 in the late 70's, on my GT550 in the 90's (london) and now on my 10 mile commute along the coast to work on a 1977 Z650...again!

Living in the real world is fine - only 10 MPH slower than the Z1, and a tenth of the price, now with plentiful and cheap spares (apart from original exhausts). looks almost as good when its polished.

Dream bike? ........1977 Z1 A !!! one day, one fine day.

zxr750 j1 in original green white and blue colours, or maybe a 1995 zx9r in same colour scheme, or maybe the zx6r f1 1995 in the same colour scheme. pretty hard really for me to decide fairly as i owned a zxr750 in the original green white and blue colour scheme and have now got a zx6r f1 in that paint scheme. don't ask me why but theres just something about a kwak in that colour scheme that does it for me

When the H1 Mach 111 came out I was truly smitten. :ctr

I have never owned or ridden one but it was, for me, iconic.

If I see one nowadays it still rekindles those feelings.
