Hi, Presuming your 9R is a pre-98 model then I think it may be similar to my 7R ? The location of the take-off points for connecting vacuum gauges to a 7R are underneath the carb inlet ports at the base of the cylinder head - not easy to find unless you know where to look ! Access is tricky but made easier by partially disconnecting all the carbs together from the inlet ports (leave the carb control cables in place) & slightly lifting them upwards to connect your gauges. For reference - no 2 cylinder has a blanking bolt on the 7R. Hope that helps, Kawasakifreak |
