:599 crashed my zx6r p7f about 7 months ago, been in rebuilding it slowly ever since as trying to get parts on a tight budget is no mean feet. Got it started last week and let the temp build up on tick over, the temp got to 105 and i shut her down as i was expecting the fan to cut in at 100 does anyone know when the fan should cut in or do you think its had it like most of the bike?

mine is same model and fan cuts in at 100/101.

maybe the fan is shot or thermo has knackered..wiring open circuit etc

Bridge the wires on the fan to see if it runs, if it does you know the fan is ok.

If the fan works it's probably the thermo switch, I had to recently replace mine due to similar symptoms
