Didn't know if we wanted to share our rides in this topic or in the general.
do you think the guys are interested in how we talk about them?

Anyway to tell you about my ride today, I went with hubby from near Bedford to LittleHadman, Herts where my aunt lives. 40 miles each way.
we went A1(M), A507, A10, A120. Too much traffic on A507 so we couldn't get the full benefit of taking those curves! it was very blustery out there and I needed more layers! I used the leathers I just got at TailEnd. gonna have to break out my USA gear which is mostly textile fabric, but has more warm lining.

Still it was good to get out in the short 5 hours of freedom I had from being a carer to our disabled teen.

Hi Julie!

I live near Biggleswade and often take the 507 when we're out riding (Hubby Dave and I). My eldest daughter's name was Julie and she was born with cerebal palsy, so we have something in common. It's not easy being a carer and some time off for yourself is very precious.

I work but have reasonable time at weekends to go out for a few hours. If you want to get together please get in touch!

So far we have yourself in Willington, me, one in Watford and one in P'boro. We could always find somewhere central to meet up?!!

Hi Lyn
Yep, finding time is not easy! I am trying to get some hours together this weekend with a carer, but we are also overdue to a visit to Mother in Clacton on Sea. gotta check the weather too. I don't know if I want to do a very wet run with a new tyre! However, would this be of interest?? Mum can always give us a cuppa!
If its a go, I will have to be home by 6pm!!! (carer hours rule)

My last ride was up to Mount Vernon, WA, USA. They have the tulip festival in April. It was a beautiful first Sunday in April. No tulips were up yet ~so maybe this weekend, if it is not too cold.
