Hi Everybody

Being the new owner of a 03 reg Ninja ZX6R 636 and never owned a Kawasaki before I would welcome help on the oil tank on the left hand side of the bike just above the clutch housing.

What is the purpose of this oil tank, Thick question I know but not managed to get a service manual yet

Thanks in advance

Carl

Oil tank??? Do you mean a small bottle on the end of a piece of black pipe? I have one of those on my '06 ZX6, it will be an overflow from something - I've just not bothered to trace the pipe. Must do that now .

Hi,
Are you sure this 'tank' contains oil ?
From the position of it - sounds more likely to be the coolant reservoir.
