Need advice :wacko: If I want better acceleration on my zx9 do I need to go down in teeth numbers or up. ? what is a good make at a reasonable price. Thanks Chris

Hi Chris, I got a B4 ZX9, the standard rear is 44 teeth, I put a 47 Renthal on and it made such a difference, get-up-and-go is better specially going up and over the mountain section in the Isle of Man, you will lose a bit of top end though, but you will lose about 12mph off top speed

Hi Pete, Thanks for that, I supose taking off 12 mph from the top end won't bother me because every time I get at 130 I have a sound in my head telling me to turn it down. so it looks like more teeth are the things for me. Cheers, Chris |
