Hi all, I started up the zx9 c1 today for the first time since November and found that it was running like a dog with tons of smoke coming out of the exhaust and petrol spitting out of the front air ports on to the front mud guard.... Any idea what this could be? Thanks in advance for any help....

sounds like the float needles in the carbs r sticking ,so its carb cleaning time

Cheers Ninja Andy, It turned out to be a jammed float vaulve..... 1st time ive ever done a carb strip and clean and what a difference it has made to the bike!!!! its sounds and is running so much sweeter... Shame the roads are coverd on ice, I so badly want to get riding again....will the winter ever end? Thanks again
