Hi there, I have just bought a second hand 2007 GPX250R and it is my first bike. I got my L's on Wednesday and am going for my first long ride today (90 minutes then staying over). Would appreciate any information at all about my bike that would be helpful and also about riding in general. Thanks

Hi, You've bought a bike with a long history of reliable running - came out in 1988 & was right first time. Even the replacement launched in 2008 uses the same basic engine with some mods to smooth things out a bit. It's a 250 so it's designed to be thrashed !! Just Keep an eye on the carbs, valve clearances & regular oil/filter changes & you can't go wrong. Enjoy, Kawasakifreak |
