I need to put some fairings on my new 98 ZX9R and was wondering if the fairings from a 98 or 99 ZX6R would be anywhere near? |

I've just tried this on my 9R last night so have a good idea: The headlight from the 900 fits into the 600 headlight cowl and will fit onto the 900's headlight bracket and the fairing bracket off the frame but that's where it ends! The 900 sir ducting will NOT fit into the 600 headlight cowl as it's too wide. The 600 fairings won't line up anywhere near the 900's bolt holes and is too tight. Sorry if that's not the news you wanted but that's what I've found. Streetfighter the 900; taht's what I've decided! Have ONE reasonable fairing panel left and the 900 headlight cowl has a chunk missing where the mirror should go! |
