Has anyone had any exerience / advise to share.
Yesterday had probs shifting up the box, though i just wasn't fully awake, then last night struggled to get it back down into first at a junction, and again struggled to get it up & down the box.
On having kick look last night external gear linkages all seem fine, plenty of oil, chain tension fine, (also had replacement clutch approx 2k mile ago)
anybody got any ideas?

Hi there,

What you need to do is strip down the footpeg side of the gear selection mechanism IF THE GEAR SELECTION IS TIGHT. It is common for there to be dirt and corrosion in here after a winters riding or a winters sit.

Normally okay going down the box but going up gets 'stiff'.

Simple job and definitely worth doing regardless of whether or not it solves the issue but in all honesty it should. Happens to mine every year. Really just needs allen keys and about 20mins of your time and it'll be like a new Bike!!!

Make sure you stick some proper quality grease down the shaft etc...
