just got a new cam chain tensioner for my zx6r g1 1998,its apparently the new REVISED superceded version. The old 1 had a rounded end without a ratchet centre plunger(automatic).the new 1 has got a an L shaped end with a spring loaded ratchet release on the main body near the end.what i need to know is which way the new one goes in,ratchet to the top or the bottom ? looked at a parts viewer from a kawasaki dealer and it looks like its at the top but wanted to check before i put it in.can anyone help? cheers! |
