My first bike was a TDM 850 and I must admit it was very heavy but this bike looks sexy, moves better not as comfy so Scotland will be a painful trip next time. But I can move this bike anywhere and I love the colour orange. would love to here your views.

No only been up there once when I had my Yamaha tdm and i'd only been biking two weeks when I came so I would love to come bake now with this bike as it was made for me and I have two years behind me now lol my daughters in;laws are from scotland not sure where though. I must agree there are lots of fantastic roads and the sites are brill. I also noticed the cities cater for bikes more than they do round here. |

Yea,its pretty bike friendly.Lots of free parking for bikes in Edinburgh and always get a warm welcome at the local towns and villages surrounding. They still dont let us ride in the bus lanes though. So where abouts are you? |

Glad to hear you are enjoying your ER-6N Cath!.. I have just bought a Second Hand one in 'Black', but to be fair I think both the White & Orange look the absolute business!.. I don't fancy my chances of keeping the Black one clean! I am up here in Aberdeen, there are some great roads, and some cracking scenery.. but on the downside we always seem to get pretty rough Winters.. I've never ridden past October in the 13-or so years I've been biking.. Anyway, all the best and hope you manage to get some trips arranged!. Cheers, Gav1903

Just bought an '09 myself and love it too. Great for commuting, break-in is painful trying to keep the revs down. Looking forward to dumping some weight out of it with a new pipe once broken-in. Bike fits me well definitely laid out for shorter folks like me! Cheers & happy holidays! |
