ZXR9 B1 - OUT OF STORAGE - HELP

Hi I am wondering if anyone can help. I know nothing about motorbikes and I have a Kawasaki ZXR 1996 N registration.

It has been in storage for nearly 10 years and was drained of all oil and brake fluid and cleaned up and prepared for long time storage.

It would be great if anyone could tell me is it worth spending any money on it to get it up and running, is it worth anything.

Also the engine had been blue printed which means nothing to me does anyone know what that means.

Thank you.

"blue printing" simply means that everything on the engine has been done precisely to design specs. Mass produced engines can vary from design specs due to run out tolerances for machining etc.

Usually also involves balancing the pistons and rods, ie checking they weigh exactly the same plus a load of other stuff.

The bikes going to be worth something to somebody as a project - would be worth trying to fire it up as a runner will be worth more than a non runner

Good luck
