Hello, Can anyone recommend a good hugger for the Z750 09? I have looked at a few photos online but they are obviously not of a Z750! I know some of them incorporate the chain guard and others sit over the top. Any information would be appreciated. Regards Julia |

Hi fellow z750 2009 owner I have made the mistake of going for the Puig black hugger which I got from a German supplier through ebay at £120. The hugger replaces the original chain guard too and to be honest I do not rate it at all. It is very flimsy. I found that one time when the back wheel locked momentarily when braking the whole hugger rattled loads. I know this is a one off occurance, but if you'd heard the rattle yourself you'd understand why I no longer want it on my bike. A friend who followed me said he could see the hugger moving when I ride, flexing because it just is not rigid enough. I've ordered a replacement and gone for a carbon look Ermax instead. It hasn't arrived yet but when I ordered I asked specifically if it was rigid construction and they assured me it was. The cheapest I found was on Ermax UK distributors website at £97 + p&p. See http://www.motoevolution.co.uk/catalog/ind...d=124&year=2009 for more info Hope that helps. I'll post when the hugger comes. They did say 3 weeks because it was out of stockk and with the postal strike it may now be longer :-( |

Hiya Julia and to the Kwak owners club,i am the proud owner of an 07 ZED 750 and i've got a rear hugger on mine its from a company called Pyramid and in my opinion it looks far superior to some of the rubbish that is on offer out there.Do have to say, it did require a little bit of fine-tuning to get it to fit perfectly, but was well worth it in the end { SILVER bike BLACK hugger } FOXY.....
