HI, I'm thinking of fitting a pair of campbell sidewinder pipes to my z 1000.The problem is that I had a pair of so called shotgun exahust on (cut down standed pipes) Thay gave of a loud droning sound when riding the bike which was unbearable,I have a good helmet and ear plugs, would this be the same with the campbull exhausts on, or the shotgun exhaust just "oops"! has anyone had experience with any of the two exhausts thanks. |

I have had mine on (Campbell's) for about 1000 kms and there is no droning, I replaced the standard pipes, have never used 'shotgun' exhausts though. I have not taken the baffles out, I am not quite sure why anyone would, in my opinion, the sound is about perfect but then I am not as young as I used to be. I have an 07 model. |
