Hi, Has anyone fitted shorter trumpet lengths on Keihin FCR carbs for cylinders 1 & 4 ? If so, why ? See this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXI-KQyIpbY

Hi Kawasakifreak When running offset stacks it normally means that we are trying to smooth out the power delivery at certain points in the rev range. Sometimes when an undesirable pulse wave fires out of the stack at a certain point in the rev range it can cause a drop in volumetric efficiency which can develop a loss in power. To ease this loss different length stacks can be employed to smooth out the effect of bad pulses.
