Hi People I have the chance of a nice looking black 2007 Z1000 and wondered how many others have a model of that year and what they think about it. A shame that here in France that it will be restricted to 106 bhp but that a side whats it like. Cheers |

Lardy, I enjoy mine, I have done 20,000 kms on it, have not had any problems. It is my first naked bike but having said that I do not do much touring anymore and now live in an area where I can be in the hills in about 5 minutes. If I lived in an area where I had to travel long distances on a straight road it would be hard work. It is great in the city. It is cold to ride in winter, get some heated grips. I suppose the big question is, 'would I buy another one', yes I would. Will I trade it in on a 2010 model, not for a while, I like mine too much. The bikes I have had before to compare it to are VFR800, Blackbird, GSXR600, ZX14. |

Thanks for that. I had a vfr750 many a moon ago but never had a naked street bike. I would rather go for a CB1000r really but its funds. Have had kawa's before but all sports. Good riding.

Hi, ive got a 2004 Z1 A1H, it was a good bike before i played with it, even better now. Ive put a power commander on it, re mapped and got 130bhp at the back wheel, muzzy exhausts and put a Vario screen on it for blasts, can still sit upright at 100mph. I LOVE my bike. |
