Hey people. How do I get the bars ends of my 05' Z750! It's so frickin tight. It's just a philips head bolt/screw right? I even tried using an impact driver. Am I missing something? Jeff |

When I did the bar ends on my ZZR6 I had to grind the ends off with an angle grinder, then work the screws off with a mole grips. I think Kawasaki put too much locking compound onto the bar ends at the factory. |

Hi Jeff, ive done mine just this week.you are rite, they are "oops" tight.but i used a 1/4 drive socket set with a srewdriver bit.use a bit that is a good fit in the screwhead and you should be fine.hope this helps....Neil. |

did mine on my z750 and had to resort to the electric drill , even broke a snap on screwdriver bit on one of em in my 1/4 drive tho the other came out relatively ok , kawasaki seem to use an inordinate amount of threadlock on the z series as this is quite a common event . i am on a z forum and many people have had the same problem

Just heat it up with a hair dryer, sounds stupid but it works without damaging anything. |
