took ownership of a new z750,pleased as punch but breaking the engine in is a frustrating task. this is a first for me. i read various quotes saying change the oil and filter after 100 miles to rid of metal debris that builds up when bedding the rings in.is worth doing or just wait until the 600 mile service comes round.any advice most welcomed. cheers |

As they say,"Just ride easy and vary the engine speed.". I would wait for the first schelduled oil change. As a matter of fact if I bought a new bike it would be in for the schelduled oil change the next day. Roy

Hi Guys, I have just got hold of an 04 z750 and want to change from the standard exhaust can. Any ideas/advice on which to go for and where to get it from. I've seen a number on ebay but have no idea which might be best.. I'm looking to spend £100-150 max (if possible)... Hope you can help. Cheers. |
