I've got myself one of these paddock stands for working on my bike. I had a go at putting the bike up on it today, already had the back up on a stand, but I couldn't figure out how to arrange the arms on the left side to lift the bike and still have access to the axle. ![]() The right leg was fine as the base of the fork is wide enough for the arms to support it. The base of the left fork is narrower and it kept slipping and I didn't want to risk damaging the disc. Has anyone used this type of stand before to lift their bike and how do you arrange the arms for access to the axle? I'm planning on getting bobbins for the back, are there bobbins for the front or am I better off changing to a headstock stand? |

Best bet but a little expensive is to get the adda stand which supports the whole bike from the centre. Its remarable my 13 year old daughter lifted the whole machine solo:) http://www.abbastands.co.uk/ Well worth it. Z 750

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping this would disappear off into the wild as the day after I posted I realised that I don't need access to the left side to remove the axle
