I just got a 1984 ZN700 LTD that needs a new fuel filter. Unfortunately, the guy who sold it to me has no clue where the thing goes on the bike, and try as I might I can find no diagram readable to me. Does anybody have any suggestions, or simply know where I can find this puppy? Thanks very much! |

i would think it is an in line fuel filter that fits to the fuel line between the fuel tap and carbs |

If this is a 4 cylinder, air cooled, it is probably on top of the fuel petcock in the tank. You would have to empty the tank and remove the petcock. The filters come with it. Mine, a Zephyr 750, has two filter on the petcock, for normal and reserve. Hope this help. Edited by hugojose, Sep 7 2010, 02:10 PM.
