Fuel light Staying on

Hi All Wonder if you can help me!! I Took my ZX6R B1H out for its first ride of the year yesterday after putting it way for the winter ped , the fuel light was on so I Filled up but the Fuel light is still staying on. Can anyone helps

if you left the tank empty then the sender has rusted and stuck
tanks should be filled and fuel stabiliser put in for winter storage

Thanks Yanto I didn't know you had to do that. I will take the tank off and take the sender out and see what i can do then.

unplug the sender under the tank see if the light go's out
if not there is a chance the circuit has earthed out as there is a permanent live to the light its the earth thats switched

I Unplugged the sender/pump and turned the ignition on and now the fuel light just flashes. I can't start it because the pump and fuel light are in the same plug. when I plugged the plug back in the fuel light goes solid again..

Hello Yanto, Just a quick message to say :txq for your help . I fitted another pump/sender and its fixed my Fuel light problem :sza
