Hi all, As an out and out Triumph man I confidently took mission control off to the NEC last November to explain why we would be chopping our Sprint ST in for the GT which was going to be so much more comfortable for her, and do away with the great big gap between us when riding the ST. No such luck, because of the lack of top box availability, we found she was even further away from me. after some disconsolate wandering we ended up sat on the GTR which she instantly fell in love with to my dismay. The Kawasaki man was much disgruntled when asked if we could have one with "Triumph" on the tank! Anyways with the first trip of the year almost upon us and still no top box possibility on the trumpet, my thoughts return to the Kwaka. While I am seriously tempted, not only for the value of keeping her indoors happy, but I read with alarm the MCN review which states that it only delivers 36MPG! Can this be true? even my old Ford Focus does better than that! Any advice would be appreciated. |
