I've posted this on another Kawasaki board so it might seem familiar but I need to KNOW! :991

So after three years of going through all things from FZ6 to TL1000s, to Enfield and all points between I have decided to slow down and go for something mild and easy for a while. KLR 650 and another bike are going as a swap for a GPZ500s.
I know it's only a little bike, a 500cc twin, but what category on the forum is it?

I don't think it's really a sports bike is it? Certainly not a Rat Bike or a cruiser so what is it?

I know I'm slowing down in my old age, it's a long way from the Z1300 chop' in the late 80's and I am actually looking forward to it.

Thanks for that link whizzerski! I supose a twin can be a sport bike as sport doesn't necessary mean "Balls Out, Elbow scraping, straight line speed and power" but is more the way you ride it.
I've had many Mini's and I would call a lot of them "Sports" cars with a bit of tweaking :693 to their set up.

Hopefully I will be collecting it this afternoon with a fresh MOT on there.

I'll miss the KLR in a way and the h***a SLR too but I need to just ease back and stay with something for a while now and recover from the stupid chopping and changing I've done recently.

Got the Bike and it is absolutely lovely!
Nice and shiny with 4K miles on the clock, I have documents that prove it's valid, and a bright new sparkling MOT certificate. "oops" is that I only realised the tax was out so I'll have to wait a few days before I can stump up for a new disc.

On the one hand we have the Bills. On the other hand we have a combination of Sunny day, shiny bike and no Tax.

Bills Vs Tax Disc = NO |CONTEST :693

Just had a first ride on the 500 and it is a lovely bike Looking forward to getting out and about with it a lot over the summer.
