long time since i done anything on a motor car or bike this kh dont run it is all over the place. took all the points off cleaned and replaced, set the gap at 18. i do have a timing light , took it to 4000rpm and i can't get the mark any were near to line up. so thouhgt i have a go at getting it some ware close by hand i know it its not a 100% but it shoudnt be that far off. like this. plug out-a small pice of wood through plug hole ; meter across points ,crank it round and get points to open just as i fill thewood at tdc.I know. i know sounds out off the ark but i dont have one of those fancy tools you put in the top not that i would think it will help because the point open way before tdc even with the points bsce slid round as far as it will go , any ideals.................please dont refir me to the timing page it dont help i
