i just bought a 04 kawasaki vulcan 1500 and it consumes a ton of oil and the compression tests at 100psi on the front and 120 on the rear cylinder. i am new to kawasakis and dont know all the ins and outs to them, i figure that it may be a head gasket, auto compression realeases on it or maybe needs new ring? what are your thoughts on this? the bike runs, but kinda rough and has no top end power

repeat the comp test a couple of times for each cylinder noting results. then squirt a little oil in each pot as you check again the increase of comp would indicate rings but firstly you must ensure valve clearances are within the correct tolerences
