i just bought a 04 kawasaki vulcan 1500 and it consumes a ton of oil and the compression tests at 100psi on the front and 120 on the rear cylinder. i am new to kawasakis and dont know all the ins and outs to them, i figure that it may be a head gasket, auto compression realeases on it or maybe needs new ring? what are your thoughts on this? the bike runs, but kinda rough and has no top end power |

repeat the comp test a couple of times for each cylinder noting results. then squirt a little oil in each pot as you check again the increase of comp would indicate rings but firstly you must ensure valve clearances are within the correct tolerences |
