Oil Pan Swap

Hello all. Thanks to the much appreciated help here on the forum I've gotten my bike riding fine all season this year! Now I have some questions on the oil pan of my bike. I have a 1990 zx600r Ninja, which is my main bike and a 1986 gpz600 ninja. The Oil pans have the same part number, I looked it up on bike bandit's part list. The 86 has an oil cooler setup, while my 90 doesn't. Besides having to add more oil, is there something else I would have to do to swap the oil cooler and would this damage my bike in any way? The 105 degree heat and long trips I take have me hoping this works.

Maybe my oil pump isn't designed to pump that much oil?

Well I did the swap and my motorcycle turned into a zx-10! I'm glad I did the swap!
