how long have you had the zzr1200 - is it a confidence wobble - if your new to riding or the bigger bike then i suggest you bear with it and get a few miles under your belt - the confidence will follow in good time - I would regret a change like this as I like the power on tap and i'm still gettin used to my own 1200 |

hi I think you will regret the change, the 12 has plenty of torque and can get you out of trouble aswell as getting you into it. The 6 will have to be revved a lot harder to make progress, Just remember the throttle works both ways. If you,ve got £2500 plus your bike and you like your bike, consider some professional training to get confidence back. I think you will regret the change. Nordy |

I agree with Nordy, if you persevere with the 1200 you will get used to it. Just get used to respecting the power and go easy on the trhrottle, there are no prizes for going too mad anyway. After being out of biking for 20 years i suddenly got a ZZR1100, a year later changed it to a ZZR1400 and abosolutely love it. I have however mad promises to my wife that i would ride it with extreem care. It actually is a pleasure to ride it gentlely and take in the countryside as well as clearing out the cobwebs occasionally. good luck with which ever choice you make. Rog |
