I was thinking about treating myself to a new Jacket, possibly a leather combo (jacket and trousers) I don't have a huge budget, and was hoping you lovely ladies may have suggestions of where to try. I'm short and rather round, which I'm working on shrinking lol.

I have found that Frank Thomas, RST and Richa are all very good on both the leather and textile front. I have Frank Thomas Jasmine 2 piece leathers and RST Zara II textiles; I have struggled in the past with size, design and geneal shape of ladies motorcycle gear, as most designers believe women are stick thin, tall and leggy however, I am average height and size but quite broad with long legs and a short body, all in all a bad combination.

I have tried Akito, Alpine Stars, Dainese, Hein Gericke and Scott brands over the few years that I have been biking and have found that for the money the above brands give you better value and usually a better fit.

Hope this helps.
