:074 hi i have just brought a kawasaki gpx 250 1994 and it is restricted so i want to de-restrict it . i have a certificate of restriction and from what i can make out the restriction device is blade (whatever that means) and has device code 250 .
i know de-restricting the bike won't make a massive difference but i would like to use the full power from the engine . Thanks for looking

If its a UK restriction for 33bhp it will be washers under the carb intake rubbers. Pop the carbs out and look in the engine and if you see large washers with smaller holes (one in each) then off with the rubbers and pop out the washers. Stick back together and job done.

Where are you? That looks like the one that was on Edinburgh Gumtree.
