Hi All, I have a 1993 Kawasaki GT 550 with a flashing battery indicator. I installed a new battery but it is still flashing. Do I need to replace the battery indicator? If so, how? When the bike is running it is charging the battery properly, but If I leave the bike unused for 2 weeks, the battery is dead. Is something in the system draining the battery? Is this common? I was adviced to start the bike with the clutch in and the side stand in because the negative lead from the battery has a pporly designed circuit. Would it drain the battery if I started the bike with the side stand out? Lots of questions, hope somebody has the answers. Thanks in advance |
