Hi all, I'm looking for some advice on the optimum revs range per gear for an ER-6F. I'm riding mainly in urban conditions from south east London to west London and back every day and I'm looking for maximum fuel economy. I realise there's a wide range of factors to be taken into account such as accelaration, braking, stop-starting etc but I'm keen to hear advice on what the max revs should be for first, second, third and fourth gear in these conditions. I rarely go beyond fourth and on a good day I might hit 45-50 (shhhh) on open stretches of my commute. Thanks for you wise words :-) |
